Following up on the tremendous success of the Universal Vertical Filing Rack©, Westerville Design has announced the availability of an optional design with the spine made of bamboo.  In addition to the environmental advantages of sustainable materials, the bamboo also adds a sleek sophistication to the modern aesthetic of the rack design.

The new eco-friendly bamboo option is being offered in two colors: Natural and Caramel.  Bamboo is a renewable resource. It's a perennial grass that grows very quickly and is sustainable since the plant is never destroyed in harvesting.

This wall-mounted design was the result of frustration with other filing solutions. Every design on the market had the same problem: They did a poor job of handling large or differently sized files. As soon as a large piece was added, everything behind it was hidden. This could result in important files being forgotten, or difficult to find, simply because they couldn’t be seen. This flat content then usually ended up unfiled and spread out over valuable workspace. With this system everything is always visible and organized, but off your desk and out of your way.

The design solution was surprisingly simple. By creating a wall mounted system that organized files by the bottom edges, content can vary widely in size without one item ever hiding another. From small envelopes to very large prints, diagrams and drawings, every item is equally visible and easy to retrieve. Simply place a label at the bottom of the file and you'll never risk forgetting about or losing an important item simply because it is obscured by something else.

The pivoting hangers allows for quick and easy addition and removal of files. Simply lift a hanger and add or remove an item below it.

The other advantage of this system is that it moves all of these files onto your under-used walls. Everything is now clearly in sight and your valuable workspace is free again.
