For anyone who has designed and launched a product you know that deciding on a name is not easy. There's a lot of research and decisions that go into it and it's never perfect.

Fun fact, while we were patent pending and deciding on a name we began selling what is now the Up Filer as the Universal Vertical Filing Rack. In fact we still own that domain name. Rolls right off the tongue-LOL 🤣. Our attorney filed our patent under a similar name.

We have always used our own Up Filers for more than files and papers. Ours currently have files, sketchbooks, kids art, packaging proofs, product & patent drawings...

Over the years we've enjoyed hearing from customers about how they use their Up Filers and thought it was finally time to share a few. 

1. Organizing cookbooks in their kitchen:

If I had two kitchens, I would have two Up Filers. I bought an Up Filer about 5 years ago. It's been housing my recipes in my kitchen ever since. It's beautiful, it's gorgeous, it's perfect in every way. It even matches my cabinetry colour 100%. As a solution, it's so perfect that I can send a complete stranger to go get my chicken kiev recipe and they can easily figure out where it is without instruction. If I had two kitchens, I would have two Up Filers. Basically, I don't know what I would do with a second Up Filer, the first one is just that perfect. If I'd known then what I know now, I'd have paid twice as much for it. I kinda feel like I under-paid for the best kitchen solution I own -- and I've got a hell of a lot of solutions invested into my kitchen, so that's saying a lot!

 2. Managing kids art projects::

Preschool Art! This is perfect for organizing my son’s school art into the perfect order in preparation for my Artkive photo album shipment!

3. Holding and displaying vinyl record albums

4. As a family command center in mudroom or kitchen area
